Wallaby Creek Festival
September 27 - September 29$180
It’s time to bounce on down to the Wallaby Creek Festival, a three day celebration of music and the arts!
Surrounded by the beautiful heritage listed wet tropics rainforest of the Far North, the festival has been held in the middle week of the September school holidays each year at Home Rule Rainforest Lodge-camping in Rossville, just south of Cooktown.
The three day program offers music on two main stages, a third stage and jam/chalkboard stage, Poets Breakfasts and a packed workshops schedule. Enjoy the circus and dance events, the roving street theatre and a complete children’s festival alongside delicious food stalls, healing spaces and market stalls! Spend your time up north with walks to the spectacular Home Rule Falls through wet tropics heritage listed rainforest and croc free swimming in the Wallaby Creek! For the really adventurous, tour the festival in tropic style with camp-fire friendly camping included in for all three days.
Wallaby Creek Festival is a wonderful family-focused event with 2019 will be its 18th year!
