The annual Quandamooka Festival, held over three sub-tropical Queensland winter months (June to August), returns in 2019 to the coastal region East of Brisbane with a wide variety of events including whale watching, cultural tours, Kunjiel (corroborees), music, eco boat tours, art exhibitions, fibre art and weaving workshops, bush tucker dining, arts and cultural talks by specialists and new events featuring international acts and First Nations dancers and performances. In the spirit of the Quandamooka Festival theme for 2019, “language”, Yura!’
A great opportunity to learn more about Country, become immersed in one of the oldest living cultures on earth and enjoy the thrill of experiencing wildlife in their natural environment!
